New arrivals: from WWII classics to futuristic projects
Our September new arrivals are a real treat for modelers. The lineup includes military vehicles, historic and modern aircraft, racing cars, as well as sci-fi kits and modeling tools. This time, new releases come from MiniArt, Zvezda, Hasegawa, Fly, Arma Hobby, and Eduard.
MiniArt once again impresses with variety – alongside the M3 Stuart tank and G7107 truck with trailer, you’ll find the Fordson Standard N tractor and a field kitchen with crew. In 1/48 scale, the lineup expands with the Junkers F13 winter ski version and the P-47D Razorback Advanced Kit. Zvezda adds the powerful 203 mm B-4 “Stalin’s Sledgehammer” howitzer and the iconic ZiL-130 truck.
Hasegawa brings a large batch of novelties. Among them are 1/350 scale ships, eye-catching sports cars such as the Nissan Skyline, Toyota Supra, and the classic BMW 2002 tii, as well as legendary aircraft including the F/A-18F Super Hornet in the Jolly Rogers 75th Anniversary scheme and the F-14A Tomcat from 1976. Anime fans will appreciate the new Macross kits, while the precise TT46 scribing compass makes for a handy modeling tool.
Fly introduces the unusual NASA AD-1 experimental aircraft with its oblique wing, while Arma Hobby adds the Curtiss P-36A to its fighter lineup. Eduard, in turn, has opened pre-orders for several highly anticipated kits: the P-40E Warhawk, the Japanese A6M5 Zero Type 52a, and the Soviet MiG-21bis – all newly tooled with impressive detail.
These new arrivals highlight just how diverse the modeling world can be – from accurate recreations of WWII equipment to classic and modern cars, and even futuristic designs from movies and games. Every modeler is sure to find something of interest.
