New arrivals – Amusing Hobby PT-91 Twardy and more model kit premieres
The standout item among this month’s releases is the Amusing Hobby 35A069 – 1:35 PT-91 Twardy. This is the first injection-molded model of Poland’s main battle tank, precisely capturing the distinctive features of the upgraded T-72 platform. The kit includes the full ERAWA reactive armor layout, a redesigned turret with modern fire control systems, and accurate external fittings.
As expected from Amusing Hobby, surface detail and fit quality are excellent, with sharply molded hull and turret parts and link-by-link tracks. The kit also contains photo-etched parts and Polish Army decals, making it a long-awaited addition for modern armor enthusiasts and fans of Polish military vehicles.
Alongside the Polish PT-91, Modelcollect expands its Fist of War line with imaginative armored vehicles such as the E-75 Jagdtiger II and I.J.A. Kabuto-Kai SPG, plus new A-12 Avenger II variants for both the U.S. Air Force and Navy in 1:48 scale.
Kinetic brings two striking jet releases – the Chinese Shenyang J-5 (MiG-17F) and the Canadian CF-188A Hornet “100 Years RCAF”. Among the accessories, Tamiya introduces the new Extra Thin Low Odor cement – a low-odor version of its popular model glue, ideal for precision assembly during longer modelling sessions. Exotic Decals rounds out the list with a series of historically inspired decal sets depicting captured German aircraft – Bf 109, Bf 110, and Vickers Wellington – in Romanian, Italian, and Yugoslav service. Available in 1:72, 1:48, and 1:32 scales, they are perfect for adding authenticity to WWII aircraft builds.
