Takom 2209 represents the American T28, also known as the T95 Gun Motor Carriage, in 1:35 scale. This super-heavy vehicle was developed at the end of World War II as a heavily armored platform intended to break through fortified defenses and engage heavily protected targets. Its most distinctive features were the massive hull and extremely thick frontal armor.

Assembly

About the T28 / T95:

The T28 (also designated T95 Gun Motor Carriage) was an American super-heavy self-propelled gun project initiated in 1944. It was intended to break through heavily fortified defensive lines such as the German Siegfried Line. Armed with a 105 mm gun and protected by extremely thick armor, it suffered from limited mobility due to its enormous weight. The project did not proceed to mass production.
