Metal barrel replacement details are a great way for enhancing your model kit.

They are precisely machined according to the dimensions of their real life counterparts. Usually they are turned from aluminum or brass. They save time because thre is no need for sanding and cleaning the mould lines and drilling out the barrels. They sometimes require assembly from parts - a CA glue is needed to fix the elements together. They usually require only replacing the plastic part with metal one. Glue them using CA glue. Some models would require cutting off the parts we are replacing.
