Set recommended for a model kit made by ICM.

Details etched in a brass sheet are the most popular detail sets for model kits.

Manufacturing technique enables creating very fine and intricate details impossible to recreate with injection moulding. They are mostly a better looking alternative for the instrument panels, hinges, clamps, clasps, mesh grilles etc. In case of short-run model kits they might be an integral part of the set. Photoetched parts need bending them along the etched lines to give them their final shape.
