Set recommended for a kit made by ICM.

Photoetched elements made of brass sheet are one of the most popular additions to unassembled plastic model kits.

Their production technology makes it possible to obtain very small and delicate details, unattainable with injection molding technology. Most often, they are a much better-looking alternative to instrument panels, catches, hangers, mounts, air intake grids, etc. For models produced with short run technology, they can be an essential part of the kit. Photo-etched parts most often require bending them according to etched lines to achieve the desired shape.

Initially, it was best known for its production of photo-etched (and later resin) additives for plastic models, in which it is still the undisputed leader. The "Profipack" kits include, in addition to the model, extras and masks for painting and are aimed at modelers with experience in the hobby. "Weekend" kits are plastic model without extras and are aimed at beginner modelers.
