Photo-etched landing flaps for the 1/48 Beaufighter Mk.VI
Eduard 481176 is a detailed photo-etched set designed to reproduce the landing flaps of the Bristol Beaufighter Mk.VI with far greater accuracy than the plastic kit parts. The real aircraft used lightweight latticework flaps, and the thin PE components capture this structure convincingly.

Assembly and use
The kit’s plastic flap areas must be thinned or removed to fit the PE components. Once assembled, the ribs, braces and surface plates form a highly realistic representation of the flaps in the deployed position, adding depth and authenticity to the model.

- Tweezers and a hobby knife
- Cyanoacrylate (CA) glue
- Acrylic paints for interior flap colouring
