Description

Resin wheels, included paint masks for 1/72 scale model F-35B aircraft.

Set recommended for a kit made by Tamiya.

Resin parts are additives that enrich the model to be glued together - they can be cast or 3D printed.

They make it possible to render much more and much finer details than possible with injection molding technology. Thanks to the ease of production, resin parts are also often found to correct improperly designed details in a plastic model. Resin parts are also used to add detail to the model, which can result in the need to cut and rework some plastic parts. In the case of short run production models, they can be a necessary part of the kit.

Eduard is a Czech manufacturer of unassembled plastic model kits for model airplanes in all the most popular scales, whose quality, detail and correctness place it among the world's leading manufacturers of plastic models.

Initially, it was best known for its production of photo-etched (and later resin) additives for plastic models, in which it is still the undisputed leader. Eduard's models consist of a considerable number of parts with a very good fit and a very high degree of detailing. The "Profipack" kits include, in addition to the model, extras and masks for painting and are aimed at modelers with experience in the hobby. "Weekend" kits are plastic model without extras and are aimed at beginner modelers.
