Precise, Japanese made nippers for cutting plastic parts that are no thicker than 1mm. They are approx 10cm tall (while typical nippers are approx. 12,5cm tall) and smaller width. This allows them to be used by kids and people with smaller hands without straining their palms. Perfect for cutting out plastic parts from sprues without risking their damaging. Blades grounded at a proper angle allow reaching even smallest parts. Soft, elatomer handles makes working with those nippers more comfortable and easy spring tension creates much less hand fatigue with prolonged work. Made from high quality, hardened carbon steel. Attention! Using those nippers to cut other materials than plastic may result in damaging their blades!

Sprue cutters or nippers are one of the basic modelling tools. They are used to remove model kit parts from sprues.

Their blade's shape determines precision they will cut with. Cheaper cutters might leave marks on the Plastic, while more expensive models allow you to effortlessly cut out even the smallest parts and details. Most common are two bladed nippers, which have universal use. There are also single blade nippers where blade works like a guillotine - blade cuts through Plastic part that rest on the other, blunt side of the nippers. This way of cutting works best if the element has sprue attachment on its edge. While cutting the parts out remember to always cut a little away from the part. This way you won't accidentally damage or deform the part.After removing the element from sprue you can trim the remaining Plastic and finish cleaning up the part.
