H0 scale model of diesel locomotive L.D.61 FVS
This model represents diesel locomotive L.D.61 of the Ferrovia della Valle Seriana (FVS), an Italian railway. The locomotive was used for both shunting duties and hauling light trains on branch lines. It is based on the German WR 360 C 14 (V 36) design, produced under license after World War II.

About V 36 locomotives and derivatives:
The WR 360 C 14 locomotives, also known as V 36, were originally developed for the German military for shunting and transport duties. After World War II, the design was further developed and produced under license in several European countries.
For the Ferrovia della Valle Seriana, two such locomotives were built in 1953–1954 by Greco in Reggio Emilia. They were used for both shunting and light train operations on local lines.
