We finally received a whole delivery of newly-toolled, beautifully detailed models of the King Tiger tank in 1/72 scale from Flyhawk Models. It is the variant with the so-called production turret. Furthermore we restocked a large number of their other kits - both ships and AFVs. From the Rye Field Model, we received two new model kits in 1/35 scale. First is a German Pz.Kpfw. IV with a Panther F turret (also known as Schmalturm). The other kit is an Oshkosh M-ATV. Yes, there were some models of this car released, but this one features a complete interior and furthermore you can get two dedicated detail sets for it. And finally from Stratus we received the second volume of Polish Fighter Colors 1939-1947 book.
King Tiger from Flyhawk, Polish Fighter Colors vol.2 from Stratus and new kits from RFM
New Hurricane from Zvezda, Pz.Kpfw IV Ausf G from Hobby 2000 and other new items
New Hawker Hurricane made by Zvezda is another kit in their line of snap-fit model kits, so the ones you can assemble without gluing. We do recommend it for the beginning modellers although knowing the quality of their previous snap-fit kits we are sure that those more advanced modellers would also be quite happy! Hobby 2000 now stretched their offer onto the 1/72 scale tank models. First three kits from this line are Pz.Kpfw. IV ausf G models - well known and liked Dragon sprues and highest quality decals from Cartograf.
New model kits from Amusing Hobby, Takom, MiniArt, Trumpeter and Hobby Boss.
Even though the summer season is in its prime, there's been some news coming to us recently among which are e.g. 1/35 scale Ferdinand SPG from Amusing Hobby - this time it's a final production vehicle, Missouri battleship in 1/700 from Vee Hobby, quite a few new diorama accessories set and model kits from Miniart and some new kits from Takom, Trumpeter and Hobby Boss. Also, we received new weathering products from Modellers World and added all of the new detail sets released in July by Eduard.
Arado 234 in 1/48 scale, Bf-109 in 1/72 scale and other new items have arrived!
July news from Eduard finally arrived! Also we've received new items from Hobby 2000, Italeri and Piko. Eduard prepared two limited edition sts of BF-109. In 1/72 scale it's an E variant and in 1/48 a G variant. Both sets have two complete models. For the smaller scale, sprues were produced by Special Hobby. Also in 1/48 scale Hobby 2000 reboxed Arado 234 from Hasegawa. This kit, long absent from the store shelves, was reintroduced now with wonderful and high quality decals printed by Cartograf. Further tanker wagons of PKP complement the offer of PIKO electric model trains. As for the Italeri, new in their offer are Spartan transport aircraft and Churchill Mk. III tank - both in 1/72 scale.
Takom, Fujimi and Hobby 2000 in the Promotion of the Week
Have some holiday fun and use our weekly promotion for Takom, Hobby 2000 and Fujimi to choose something to assembly during the hot summer days! :-)
Cromwell from Airfix, twin turret 7TP and P.11c from IBG and many other news.
Another delivery of new items have just hit our shelves: Airfix, Zvezda, Special Hobby, ICM, HK Models, Heller and Revell. There's also a new issue of Ammo by Mig Weathering Magazine. It's focused on model kits imitating their burned down counterparts. As this is extreme weathering - there's a lot of room for learning various techniques that might be helpful in other projects as well! Mr.Hobby broadened their Mr Surfacer range further by adding Mr Finishing Surfacer in pink colour - recommended for figures and red colours. They also introduced spray cans of Mr Surfacer Aqueous, which seems to be very similar in their properties to their H line paints. Hataka also broadened their 10ml B line of paints by several colours
New Leopard 2 in 1/72 scale from Border Model and other novelties.
It's a rather slow and unassuming week for news in the model world so only a few novelties in our offer. From Border Model came a new incarnation of Leopard 2 A5/A6 in 1/72 scale. It's a beautifully detailed and cast model kit which can be a pleasure to build albeit - quite small for some. There has also been a restock of some Border tools along with new ones like e.g. very handy and good looking modelling clamp/holder in 3 colour variations. Master Box on the other hand continues their S-F themed figure series in 1/24 scale. Two new figures are available one of which is quite scantily clad Ms mechanic/engineer. Jumping back to 1/72 scale - Hobby 2000 released another A4 Skyhawk - this time its E variant. Also in this scale there are two new F-14 model kits from Great Wall Hobby. There also has been some movement in 1/35 scale with LARC amphibious vehicle, another variant of British ATMP and a nicely moulded a whole pile of US jerry cans - perfect set for a diorama!

Arma Hobby released a second boxing of their 1/48 scale P.11c. It is now a "model kit" version, which gives us two painting schemes and a small PE fret. Also a 1/72 scale Hurricane in new boxing was released. Miniart also released some interesting novelties. It's a German D8506 tractor with a trailer, Syrian T-34/85 and British Austin armoured car in German, Finnish and Austro-Hungarian service. They also released some kits with further diorama accessories. All mentioned items are of course in the most popular 1/35 scale. Some new aircraft model kits were released by Dora Wings: Bloch MB.152C.1 in 1/72, Seversky J9 and P-43B/C Lancer in 1/48 scale. Also - new in our catalogue are models from Hobby Park. Those kits were not that long ago released under the Parc Hobby name, but their story reaches much deeper...

A few words on scale model making hobby
There has been a lot written about scale model making. For some it's a way for spending spare time, for others a sports discipline (if we're talking about radio-controlled model kits) and it constantly evolves. Speed of this evolution which happened since 2008 until today is very similar to the speed in which today's computers develop. There is rarely a week in which no new model kits, aftermarket detail sets or some kind of tool or paint isn't announced. Companies are in a state of permanent arms race with their products that deliver to the modelling market more and more new goods which facilitate working in our hobby. The choice is huge right now and it's growing bigger and bigger each day!
