Description
Unassembled plastic model kit of a Polish fighter aircraft Lim-5.
Scale of the model: - 1/72
Set includes:
- plastic sprues with parts of the model
- waterslide decals sheet
- assembly instructions including possible painting schemes
Paints and glue not included in the set.
Unassembled model kit requiring cutting out and glueing the parts together.
Includes assembly instructions that shows correct order of cutting out and putting the parts together. Instructions also include suggestions for choosing the correct paint colours. Finally you need to apply the included decals according to the instructions.
Basic tools required for assembly:
- craft knife or sprue cutters
- small files or sandpapers in different gradations
- paintbrushes in different sizes
- plastic glue
- set of paints chosen according to the instructions or with the help of our staff
- if a kit contains metal or resin parts a CA glue will also be required
Airfix is the oldest British plastic model kit manufacturer being at the same time the brand which created the modelling world.
Many generations of modellers were raised building their kits. They currently immortalised their old sets in a "Vintage Classics" line, while all their current releases are newly designed model kits. Airfix, through its model kits, tries to reach out to every modeller: for the beginners a broad selection of starter sets and 1/72 scale planes which are very well detailed and with a good parts fit, for advanced builders - bigger 1/72 and 1/48 sets which have much bigger part count and the quality of all their kits is on par with the world's leading manufacturers. Airfix focuses mainly on aircraft model kits though they are also expanding their armoured vehicles product line.
