AK11266 Iron Effect 35 ml - paint with steel filings
AK11268 Oxidizing Agent 18 ml - agent for patinating steel

This kit allows you to recreate very realistic scale rust effects on models and miniatures. It is suitable for modeling and crafts. First, apply special acrylic paint (AK11266) with a brush to the piece on which you want to create the rust effect. After it dries, apply an oxidizing agent (AK11268) over the paint. Leave it on for a while to see the final effect, as oxidation occurs through a natural reaction with air. The oxidizing agent can be diluted with water for more subtle effects on the parts. The effect can be supplemented with pigments or other products to achieve a greater variety of colors.
