AK Interactive Cyclops UV Light-Curable Adhesive – 30 ml

AK Interactive 12034 Cyclops is an ultraviolet (UV) light-curable adhesive available in a 30 ml container. Unlike traditional cyanoacrylate glues, Cyclops remains liquid or gel-like throughout the working time — it only cures upon exposure to UV light. This allows precise alignment, fitting and any necessary adjustment of parts without time pressure.

Once exposed to an appropriate UV light source, the adhesive cures almost instantly and reaches full mechanical strength. UV-cure technology is particularly suited to joints that require longer positioning time, transparent parts (canopies, windscreens), and wherever precision of placement is critical.

Note: An external UV light source is required to cure the adhesive — not included in the set.

Cyclops requires a lamp or torch emitting ultraviolet (UV) light to cure. The UV source is not included and must be purchased separately. The manufacturer recommends the AK Interactive 9566 torch (sold separately), which emits radiation at 395 nm wavelength.

How to use:

Apply the adhesive to the surfaces to be joined and carefully align the parts. Once positioned as desired, expose the joint to the UV torch for a few seconds until fully cured. Remove any excess adhesive before curing. Avoid contact with eyes and skin; do not direct UV light at skin or eyes. Store away from UV light sources and direct sunlight.
