A set of precise brass tubes that can be used in various ways e.g. to fabricate details in model kits, on dioramas, maquettes etc.

Aber is a Polish manufacturer of turned metal and photoetched brass details for model kits.

Since their founding, Aber has gained a reputation of one of the best and most accurate brands on the modelling market, when it comes to detail-up sets. Their catalogue covers detail sets for virtually any model scale and type. Sets are very well researched and simple ones containing grilles, stowage boxes or fenders can be found as well as very complex sets, with even minute details faithfully recreated. Parts can be joined together by soldering or using a CA-type glue. Aber detail sets are recommended mostly for experienced modellers as their use often involves larger modifications of the kit’s plastic parts.
