Description
Unassembled plastic model kit of a American aircraft transport Douglas C-118 Liftmaster.
Scale of the model - 1/144
The kit includes:
- frames with parts to be glued together
- decal sheet
- instructions for assembling the model, along with a presentation of possible paint versions
The kit does not include glue and paints.
model requires assembly by gluing its parts together.
The model includes instructions that pictorially show the sequence of cutting out parts and gluing them together. The instructions also include suggestions on how to choose paints for painting the model. In the final step, you will need to apply the decals included in the kit to the surface of the model according to the scheme shown.
To build the model you will need a basic set of tools:
- scalpel or modeling pliers
- files or various thicknesses of sandpaper
- brushes of various sizes
- modeling glue for plastic
- a set of paints according to the instructions or individually selected by an employee of our model store
- if your model contains metal or resin parts, you will need cyanoacrylate glue for them
Academy is the largest South Korean manufacturer of unassembled plastic model kits present on the market since the late '60s.
They produce a wide range of aircraft, armored and ship models in the most popular scales. Increasingly popular in their lineup are models that can be assembled without the use of glue, as well as those that are produced from different colored plastic and do not require painting after assembly. In typical reduction models, which need to be glued together and painted, the number of parts is average, the details and fit are very good - Academy models are a good choice for any modeler.
