Description

Plastic 1/72 scale model aircraft stand that precisely reproduces a section of the deck of an escort aircraft carrier. Corresponds to all basic historical types of American-made escort aircraft carriers of World War II, used en masse, also by Great Britain, in the Atlantic, Pacific, Indian Ocean, Mediterranean and Arctic convoys. Dimensions 152x152mm.

Included is a link to a free download of files for self-printing on a 3D printer of accessory parts: brake cable mounts, different versions of wheel wedges, a bomb carriage. Once painted and possibly completed with pilot and operator figures, it makes an attractive and easy-to-make diorama.
