3D-printed armour detail - sharp edges and a vision slot

Armoured flaps and shutters with narrow slots depend on sharp edges and correct plate thickness - hard to achieve in injection moulding. 3D printing reproduces them with high precision. The part is attached with cyanoacrylate glue; before painting it is worth gently cleaning the surface of any print-support marks. A matt finish consistent with the vehicle's armour is recommended.
