3D decal set with photo-etched elements for the 1/48 scale model of the B-17F aircraft.

Set recommended for a kit made by Eduard / HKM.

3D decals are additions to models made using state-of-the-art technology.

They imitate all kinds of instrument and clock panels, switches, etc. They combine ease of use (like a regular water-based decal) and fitting to an irregular surface with a spatiality that is not as achievable with either plastic or photo-etched details. They come prepainted and are designed for a particular sets of models to be glued together.

Eduard is a Czech manufacturer of unassembled plastic model kits for model aircraft in all the most popular scales, whose quality, detail and correctness put it among the world's leading manufacturers of plastic models.

Initially, it was best known for its production of photo-etched (and later resin) additives for plastic models, in which it is still the undisputed leader. Eduard's models consist of a considerable number of parts with a very good fit and a very high degree of detail. The "Profipack" kits include, in addition to the model, extras and masks for painting and are aimed at modelers with experience in the hobby. "Weekend" kits are plastic model without extras and are aimed at beginner modelers.
