SPACE 3D decals – three-dimensional interior detail without painting

SPACE are self-adhesive 3D decals printed on a clear carrier that create raised, multi-coloured detail. They reproduce instrument panels, side consoles and seatbelts – all as 3D decals, without separate photo-etched parts.

The decals are applied like ordinary waterslide decals onto a prepared, smooth surface. It is a convenient way to achieve a rich, colourful interior without painting fine details.

About the aircraft – Hawker Typhoon Mk.Ib:

The Hawker Typhoon is a British fighter and ground-attack aircraft of World War II. Although it disappointed as an interceptor, it excelled in the ground-attack role: armed with four 20 mm cannons plus bombs or unguided rockets, it became a scourge of German armoured and transport columns.

The Mk.Ib, especially late aircraft with a bubble canopy, was used intensively during the fighting in Normandy in 1944, attacking ground targets in close support of the advancing armies.

Original specifications (Hawker Typhoon Mk.Ib):

  • Length: approx. 9.73 m
  • Wingspan: approx. 12.67 m
  • Powerplant: Napier Sabre IIA inline engine, approx. 2,180 hp
  • Maximum speed: approx. 663 km/h
  • Armament: 4 x Hispano 20 mm cannons and up to 8 unguided rockets or 2 x 454 kg bombs
  • Crew: 1
