SPACE 3D decals – three-dimensional interior structure

SPACE are self-adhesive 3D decals printed on a clear carrier. In this version they reproduce the internal fuselage structure – ribs and spars – as raised 3D decals, without separate photo-etched parts.

The decals are applied like ordinary waterslide decals onto a prepared surface, enhancing the look of the model's exposed interior.

About the aircraft – Consolidated PBY-5A Catalina:

The Consolidated PBY Catalina is one of the most famous American flying boats of World War II – a twin-engine parasol-wing aircraft used for maritime patrol, anti-submarine warfare, air-sea rescue and transport.

The PBY-5A was an amphibian fitted with retractable wheeled landing gear, allowing it to operate from both water and land runways. The Catalina was renowned for its long range and endurance; aircraft in USAAF service were designated OA-10A.
