3D-printed cockpit – a complete cabin interior

The set contains a complete cockpit interior produced by direct 3D printing, replacing the simplified plastic parts. 3D printing reproduces the rich detail of the seat, instrument panel, side walls and cabin equipment in a single, coherent, high-sharpness assembly.

Decals and photo-etched parts are included to complete the detail (including seatbelts and small elements). The elements are fitted with cyanoacrylate adhesive. It is a comprehensive solution for modellers who want a striking cockpit without combining many separate accessories.

About the aircraft – Messerschmitt Bf 109K-4:

The Messerschmitt Bf 109 is the most numerously produced fighter in history and the mainstay German fighter throughout the Second World War. The K version, known as the "Kurfürst", was the final mass-production variant of the design, introduced in late 1944 to standardise production and incorporate the latest improvements.

The Bf 109K-4 was powered by a Daimler-Benz DB 605D engine with a boost installation, offering high performance at altitude. The aircraft had a pressurised cockpit and reinforced armament with a cannon firing through the propeller hub. The K-4 fought in the Defence of the Reich in the final, dramatic period of the air war over Europe.

Original specifications (Bf 109K-4):

  • Length: approx. 8.9 m
  • Wingspan: approx. 9.9 m
  • Crew: 1
  • Powerplant: Daimler-Benz DB 605D inline engine, approx. 1,850 hp (with boost)
  • Maximum speed: approx. 710 km/h
  • Service ceiling: approx. 12,500 m
  • Armament: 30 mm cannon through the propeller hub and 2 × 13 mm machine guns
