Engine exhaust nozzles – precise Brassin detail

The set contains engine exhaust nozzles that replace the simplified plastic parts. Faithful reproduction of the nozzle's shape and internal structure — with an open, hollowed outlet — gives this characteristic part of a jet aircraft a realistic appearance.

The elements are fitted with cyanoacrylate adhesive. The open nozzles take darkening and metallising techniques very well, emphasising the effect of heated metal.

About the aircraft – Grumman F-14D Tomcat:

The Grumman F-14 Tomcat was an American two-seat carrier-borne fighter with variable-geometry wings, for decades the primary air-defence asset of U.S. Navy carriers. Its distinctive in-flight swing wings and long-range radar working with AIM-54 Phoenix missiles made it one of the most formidable interceptors of its era.

The F-14D Super Tomcat was the final and most advanced variant, fitted with more powerful General Electric F110 engines and fully digital avionics. Tomcats of this version served until 2006, taking part in combat operations over Iraq and Afghanistan before being replaced by the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet.
