Big Ed is a combined package of Eduard photo-etched accessories and masks selected for a single model and sold together at an attractive price. It brings together in one box several sets that are usually bought separately, so you can detail a model comprehensively with a single purchase.

The individual elements are fitted according to the instructions supplied with each set: photo-etched parts are bent and secured with cyanoacrylate adhesive, and masks are applied to a cleaned surface before airbrush painting.

About the aircraft – Supermarine Spitfire Mk.Vb:

The Supermarine Spitfire Mk.V was the most numerously produced Spitfire variant of the early and mid Second World War. Powered by the Rolls-Royce Merlin 45 engine, it formed the backbone of RAF fighter forces in 1941–1942, fighting over the English Channel, in the defence of Malta and in the Middle East.

The Vb variant was fitted with the so-called "b" wing carrying mixed armament: two 20 mm cannon and four 7.7 mm machine guns. Although it was eventually outclassed by newer German fighters, the Mk.Vb remained a key and widely operated aircraft on which many Allied aces flew.
