Painting masks are an accessory that makes the work easier for modelers using an airbrush.

They protect clear parts of the model (such as canopy, headlights, etc.) and often wheel hubs. Masks are factory pre-cut to match the shapes of specific kit parts – the packaging indicates the kit they are designed for. It is worth checking whether the selected set covers the entire canopy or if the central glazing needs to be additionally protected with a liquid mask. Depending on the manufacturer and set, the sheet may also include masks for the inside of the canopy. Eduard produces its masks from a material similar to self-adhesive masking tape, ensuring good adhesion and easy removal after painting.
