About the Mitsubishi G4M “Betty”:

The Mitsubishi G4M, codenamed “Betty” by the Allies, was the Imperial Japanese Navy’s standard land-based bomber during WWII. Despite this, the Betty played a central role in Pacific operations, from torpedo strikes against Allied warships to kamikaze missions in 1944–45. The G4M2A Model 24 variant featured improved engines and defensive armament.
