Hasegawa 65718 is a kit for self-assembly representing the VF-0D variable fighter known from the anime “Macross Zero”. It is a static model in Fighter (aircraft) mode, reproducing the two-seat machine with its distinctive delta-wing layout, which clearly differs in silhouette from the classic Valkyries of the Macross series.

Assembly:

The model is recommended for modellers with some experience. It is a static model in aircraft mode – it does not transform into other forms. The cockpit is best painted before the fuselage is closed, and the canopy fitted last to avoid scratches.

The colour scheme and marking layout are given in the instructions. A satin varnish suits aircraft finishes well, and decals are best applied over a gloss coat to avoid decal silvering.
