Description
Unassembled plastic model kits of the Japanese battleship Yamato as per 1945.
Scale of the model - 1/450
The set includes:
- frame with parts to be glued
- decal sheet
- photograph parts
- instructions for assembling the model with presentation of possible paint versions
The set does not include glue or paint.
Model requires assembly by gluing its parts together.
The model includes instructions that pictorially show the order in which parts are cut out and glued together. The instructions also include suggestions on how to choose paints for painting the model. In the final step, the decals included in the kit should be applied to the surface of the model according to the scheme shown.
You will need a basic set of tools to build the model:
- modelers' scalpel or pliers
- pillets or various thicknesses of sandpaper
- brushes of various sizes
- modeling glue for plastic
- .set of paints according to the instructions or individually selected by an employee of our model shop
- if the model contains metal or resin parts, cyanoacrylate glue will be necessary for them
Hasegawa is a Japanese manufacturer of unassembled plastic model kits known for the high quality of its products.
The company entered the modeling market in earnest in 1962 with the 1/450 scale model of the battleship Yamato. Hasegawa mainly offers aircraft models in the popular 1/72, 1/48 and 1/32 scales, a large series of civilian and rally cars in 1/24 scale, as well as extensive ship collections in 1/700 and 1/350 scales. Models from this manufacturer are characterized by very high quality and detail, as well as very good fit of parts. Hasegawa kits are good for all modelers, regardless of experience in the hobby.
