Hobby 2000 48045 is a special edition of the British Hawker Typhoon Mk. IB “Car Door” fighter from 1943. The kit is based on Hasegawa tooling and enhanced with high-quality Cartograf decals and painting masks for the canopy. In 1:48 scale, the model accurately captures the distinctive early-production Typhoon with its side-opening cockpit doors.

Assembly:

Assembly requires removing parts from sprues, cleaning and carefully fitting them before gluing. Special attention should be paid to the cockpit area and the characteristic side doors. The included masks make canopy painting easier and more precise. After construction, the model should be painted according to the selected 1943 marking option.
