Plastic model kit of the Consolidated PBY-3 Catalina in 1:72 scale
The Hobby 2000 72083 kit reproduces the early version of the Consolidated PBY-3 Catalina maritime patrol flying boat used by the US Navy for long-range reconnaissance and rescue missions. This reissue of the Academy tooling adds Cartograf decals and canopy masks for precise painting and a clean finish.

About the Consolidated PBY-3 Catalina:
The PBY-3 Catalina was an early version of the famous US Navy flying boat used for maritime reconnaissance, anti-submarine patrols and search-and-rescue missions. With its high wing, retractable wingtip floats and long endurance, it became one of the most distinctive patrol aircraft of the Second World War.
