The Lockheed Martin F-35A Lightning II is the newest 5th-generation multirole fighter, introduced into service with the Polish Air Force starting in 2026. Poland has ordered 32 aircraft to replace the MiG-29 and Su-22 fleets. The F-35A features stealth technology, advanced avionics, and the ability to carry weapons both internally and externally. The special “Husarz” scheme pays tribute to Poland’s historic winged hussars, symbolically linking national heritage with modern military aviation.
