This handy set will make opening any paint produced by Mr.Hobby - both in typical 10ml and larger 18ml capacity e.g. from GX series. Plastic lid wrench is a sturdy construction with a thickness equal to the height of the paint lid which ensures proper gripping of the grooves. It also reduces risk of the wrench slipping around the grooves of the lid. Proper length gives good leverage and easy unscrewing of even tightly capped paints.

One end of the wrench features teeth for 10 ml lids, the other for 18ml. They work also with older type of lids. There is also a slot in the middle of the wrench that can be used to unscrew old Mr.Hobby paints that featured lids with tab.

If the lid is very stuck it is best to place the paint jar in included silicone holder which will provide proper grip when you apply more force to unscrew the lid. Silicone holder fits all 10 and 18ml jars.

Mr.Hobby opener can be also used to open paints from other brands, packed in similar 10ml jars like Tamiya and AK Real Color.
