Mr.Hobby Mr. Mark Setter MS232 Decal Setting Solution – 40 ml
Mr. Mark Setter is a decal setting solution designed to improve decal adhesion while also providing mild softening properties. It is intended to be applied underneath the decal, directly onto the painted surface of the model.

The product is especially useful when working with older decals that have lost their adhesive properties, as well as decals with weak adhesion. The softening agents help the decal conform more closely to the surface.
Usage tips:
- Apply a small amount of Mr. Mark Setter to the area where the decal will be placed.
- Position the decal directly onto the wet solution.
- Gently press the decal using a damp cotton swab or a soft, lint-free cloth.
- Remove excess solution to avoid excessive softening.
- The product is water-soluble and can be diluted to reduce its strength.
The updated acrylic resin-based formula provides stronger adhesion than previous versions. Once dry, decals are less likely to lift, even during masking after applying a clear coat.
Due to its increased dissolving power, especially on water-based hobby paints that have not fully cured, careful application is recommended. Diluting the solution with approximately 30% water can help reduce its strength depending on the paint type and drying time.
