Their blade's shape determines precision they will cut with. Cheaper cutters might leave marks on the Plastic, while more expensive models allow you to effortlessly cut out even the smallest parts and details. Most common are two bladed nippers, which have universal use. There are also single blade nippers where blade works like a guillotine - blade cuts through Plastic part that rest on the other, blunt side of the nippers. This way of cutting works best if the element has sprue attachment on its edge. While cutting the parts out remember to always cut a little away from the part.
