About type 111A and 112A coaches:

Type 111A and 112A coaches were introduced in the 1970s as long-distance compartment coaches based on the UIC-Y standard. Type 111A served 2nd class, while 112A was designated for 1st class. Both were essential to PKP’s domestic and international services during Era IV.

The olive green livery with white "PKP" lettering became an iconic visual identity of Polish railways in the communist era. These coaches ran on key domestic routes and border-crossing services throughout Eastern Europe.
