Analog or digital control – what to choose?

Analog systems control all locomotives on a track section simultaneously using voltage changes. Digital control allows individual locomotives to respond independently to commands from a controller, while track voltage remains constant. This model is analog but can be upgraded to digital operation by installing a suitable decoder.

About the ET41 locomotive:

The ET41 is a powerful freight electric locomotive developed specifically for hauling heavy trains such as coal. Built by Pafawag in Wrocław between 1977 and 1983, it was created by permanently coupling two EU07 locomotives into a single unit. A total of 200 locomotives were produced.

Thanks to their strength, simplicity, and reliability, ET41s became a mainstay of industrial freight transport across Poland. Over time, several units were modernized and repainted into updated PKP Cargo liveries. The model reflects this modern version used in contemporary service.
