H0 scale electric locomotive type 181 STK with sound – Era VI

PIKO 21030 is a highly detailed H0 scale model of the six-axle electric locomotive type 181, operated by the private freight company STK during Era VI. The locomotive is derived from the former Czechoslovak E 669.1 class and has proven its capabilities in heavy freight service for decades.

About the type 181 (E 669.1)

The E 669.1 class was developed in Czechoslovakia to eliminate the need for double-heading heavy freight trains. After the dissolution of Czechoslovakia, the class was redesignated as 181 and continued service with Czech Railways, later also with private operators in several European countries, including Poland.
