Unassembled plastic model kits of the American fighter plane Curtiss Hawk II.

Paint patterns and decals for aircraft used by Turkish, Chinese and German aviation. The Curtiss Export Hawk II (D-IRIK) on display in the hangar of the Aviation Museum in Krakow is one of two aircraft purchased by Hermann Göring for German aviation ace Ernst Udet to encourage him to join the NSDAP in 1933. The aircraft was used for demonstrations on the occasion of the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin.

The kit includes:

• frames with parts to be glued together
• decal sheet
• resin parts
• photo-etched parts
• instructions for assembling the model with presentation of possible paint versions

The kit does not include glue and paints.

The model includes instructions that pictorially show the sequence of cutting out parts and gluing them together. The instructions also include suggestions on how to choose paints for painting the model. In the final step, you will need to apply the decals included in the kit to the surface of the model according to the scheme shown.

To build the model you will need a basic set of tools:

• scalpel or modeling pliers
• files or various thicknesses of sandpaper
• brushes of various sizes
• modeling glue for plastic
• a set of paints according to the instructions or individually selected by an employee of our model store
• if your model contains metal or resin parts, you will need cyanoacrylate glue for them

RS Model is a Czech manufacturer of short-run unassembled plastic model kits.

Their product range focuses on 1/72 scale aircraft models and a few 1/48 scale aircraft models. Their kits usually depict lesser known machines or in unusual paintings, very often overlooked by larger plastic model kits manufacturers. The quality of their models is good, but keep in mind that short-run models require some experience, attention and patience when gluing and are aimed at more experienced modelers - but the work put in will pay off with an unusual miniature. RS Model products can also often include extras in the form of photo-etched or resin parts.
