Zlin Z-XII – Czechoslovak Sport Aircraft from the 1930s – Plastic Model Kit in 1/72 Scale – RS Models
This model represents the Zlin Z-XII, a classic light sport and touring aircraft designed in Czechoslovakia in the mid-1930s. It became one of the most popular light civilian aircraft of its time, used for both recreational flying and pilot training. The 1/72 scale model accurately captures the aircraft’s proportions and elegant two-seat layout.
Kit includes:
- Plastic sprues with assembly parts
- Decals with civilian and national markings
- Assembly instructions with illustrated painting guide
Note: Kit does not include glue, paints, or tools. Assembly required.
Model assembly information:
This model requires manual assembly from plastic parts. The included instructions feature step-by-step illustrations for cutting out and assembling the components. The guide also includes paint suggestions for accurate finishing. In the final step, apply the included decals following the placement scheme.

About the Zlin Z-XII aircraft:
The Zlin Z-XII was a light sport aircraft developed by Zlínská Letecká Akciová Společnost (ZLAS) in 1935. With tandem seating and a fabric-covered wooden structure, it was widely used for civilian aviation purposes – mainly flight training and recreational flying. The Z-XII gained popularity thanks to its ease of use, low operating cost, and reliability.
