Carefully read the set's assembly instructions and the assembly instructions of the model you are using it with. For gluing photoetched and resin details CA glue is required. Photoetched parts require bending them into shape. We recommend using a PE parts bending tool or at the very least a pair of quality, smooth jawed pliers.

Details made from resin are made to enrich the look of a model kit - they can be either cast or 3D printed.

They allow to recreate much more and much finer details than it is possible with injection moulding. Thanks to the ease and low cost of manufacturing, resin can also be used in correction sets that replace wrongly designed plastic parts. Resin parts are also used to represent additional parts of a model which might result in need of cutting away and reworking of the plastic model surface. In case of short-run model kits resin parts might be an integral part of the set.
