H0 scale PKP Bti passenger coaches – set of two Roco models

This set includes two models of Bti type passenger coaches of the Polish State Railways (PKP) in H0 scale (1:87), produced by Roco. These auxiliary coaches were widely used in passenger services in Poland during the second half of the 20th century, especially in regional and local trains. The models are a perfect addition to realistic PKP passenger train formations from Era IV.

About the Bti passenger coaches

Bti coaches belong to a group of lightweight second-class passenger coaches used mainly in regional passenger services. Their design traces back to the well-known German passenger coaches commonly referred to as “Donnerbüchsen”, built in the first half of the 20th century. After World War II many of these coaches were distributed among different European railway administrations, including the Polish State Railways.

In Poland these coaches were primarily used in local passenger trains operating on shorter routes.
