About EW IV driving trailers:

The EW IV driving trailers were introduced by SBB in the 1990s as part of the modernization of long-distance services and the introduction of push-pull train operation. Around 60 IC Bt vehicles were built, based on the well-known EuroCity coach design.

These coaches offer approximately 62 seats and include compartments for wheelchairs, bicycles, and strollers. The front design closely resembles that of the Re 460 locomotives, ensuring a uniform appearance of the train sets.
