This set includes two Post 2s-t/11 mail freight wagons operated by Deutsche Bundespost, finished in Era IV livery. These wagons were used for transporting mail within railway networks, often forming part of dedicated postal or mixed trains.

About DBP mail wagons:
In 1981, Deutsche Bundespost acquired covered freight wagons of type Gos 245 from Deutsche Bundesbahn and adapted them for postal service, classifying them as Post 2s-t/11. These wagons were mainly used in and around Berlin and were assigned to the OPD Hannover directorate. Despite being based on freight wagons, they were given passenger coach numbering. Some of these wagons remained in service until the early 1990s, playing an important role in railway mail transport.
