If the needle in the airbrush is crooked, it should be replaced. A crooked needle in the airbrush causes uneven paint dispensing, paint spitting and clogging of the airbrush. The needle is pulled back after unscrewing the needle lock nut. Then gently push the needle forward until you feel resistance and screw the needle lock.
Choosing the right size nozzle, needle and cover is very important. All these components must be the same size for the airbrush to work properly. Wearing different sized components can lead to damage, for example, to the nozzle by inserting a needle that is too thick.
