Special Hobby 72446 – 1:72 B-12A Bomber Yellow Wings over America
This 1:72 scale Special Hobby model kit represents the Martin B-12A bomber in its iconic "Yellow Wings" paint scheme, used by the US Army Air Corps in the late 1930s. The B-12A was one of the last biplane bombers before the transition to more modern monoplane designs. The kit features detailed plastic parts, resin upgrades, photo-etched components, and colorful decals for multiple aircraft.

About the B-12A bomber:
The Martin B-12A was a twin-engine medium bomber developed as an improved version of the earlier B-10. It featured an all-metal structure and enclosed cockpit—innovative for its time. Although quickly replaced by more advanced aircraft, it played a key role in the modernization of the US bomber fleet. Its bright “Yellow Wings” livery symbolized the interwar era of the US Army Air Corps.
