Building the model:

It is worth cutting the small parts carefully from the sprues and cleaning up the gate marks. The cans and fabric items are best painted separately, with the detail emphasised by a wash and pigments imitating rust, dust and streaks.

Tools you'll need:

• Modelling nippers for removing parts from the sprues
• Hobby knife or scalpel
• Files and sandpaper for cleaning up the edges
• Plastic cement (e.g. Tamiya Extra Thin Cement)
• Brushes and modelling paints (acrylic or enamel)
• A wash and pigments for weathering effects (dust, rust, streaks)
