About the cruiser Pola:

Pola was one of four Zara-class heavy cruisers built for the Regia Marina in the late 1920s and early 1930s. The class was considered among the best-armored treaty cruisers of its time. Pola took part in Mediterranean operations during World War II. In March 1941, she was heavily damaged during the Battle of Cape Matapan and subsequently sunk by Royal Navy forces.
