Plastic model kit of the IJN Yamato battleship in 1:350 scale – Advanced Version
This advanced model kit from Very Fire depicts the famous IJN Yamato – the largest battleship ever commissioned. The Advanced Version provides a rich selection of extras, enabling modelers to build a highly realistic replica.

Note: The kit does not include glue, paints or modeling tools. Assembly required.
Building process:
The Advanced Version is designed for experienced modelers. In addition to plastic parts, it features photo-etched details, resin components, metal gun barrels – all of which significantly enhance the authenticity of the finished model.

- Model knife or sprue cutters
- Files or sanding sticks
- Brushes of various sizes
- Plastic cement
- Cyanoacrylate glue (for metal and photo-etched parts)
- Paints suitable for IJN warships
About the IJN Yamato battleship:
IJN Yamato was the largest battleship ever built, armed with nine 460 mm main guns. Launched in 1940 and commissioned in 1941, she became a symbol of Japan’s naval power. Yamato took part in several Pacific War operations and in April 1945 was sunk during Operation Ten-Gō by overwhelming U.S. carrier-based aircraft. Her sinking marked the dramatic end of the battleship era.
