The X-Scale 144009 kit in 1:144 scale represents the ATR-42-300, a regional turboprop aircraft developed by the French-Italian company ATR (Avions de Transport Régional/Aerei da Trasporto Regionale). First introduced in the 1980s, the ATR-42 became one of the most successful short-haul passenger aircraft, operated by airlines across Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
