AK Interactive 9566 Ultraviolet Flashlight

AK Interactive 9566 is a compact flashlight emitting ultraviolet radiation at 395 nm wavelength. In modelling work it is used primarily to cure photopolymer resins and UV-curable adhesives — including AK Interactive 12034 Cyclops. The focused UV beam with a range of up to 50 cm allows precise curing of selected joints or elements without unintentionally curing adhesive outside the working area.

Beyond modelling applications, the flashlight can be used for detecting organic stains, verifying the authenticity of banknotes and documents (driving licences, passports), identifying fluorescent minerals, and detecting fluid leaks marked with UV dye.

Application

The AK Interactive 9566 flashlight is the manufacturer's recommended UV source for use with Cyclops adhesive (AK12034). It is suitable for use with photopolymer resins used in 3D printing and casting, and the compact format makes it easy to precisely cure smaller components. Do not direct the UV beam directly at eyes or skin for prolonged periods.
